What You will Learn

Whether we like it or not, AI has arrived! While there are concerns for therapists to consider, there are also many potentially useful applications for AI in clinical practice, if done responsibly and ethically. In this workshop we will look at current trends in AI in clinical practice, as well as applying our collective codes of ethics to case examples.

  • Understand and utilize supervision contracts with supervisees

  • Be able to better support supervisees

  • Understand the ACA ethical guidelines of being a supervisor

Emily Dubach

Emily DuBach, PhD, LCPC, ATR-BC, has her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and master's in Art Therapy. She has been creating internship opportunities for counselors in training and supports interns as a supervisor and mentor. Her passion in the field of counseling is utilizing creativity, providing support, and curiosity with the work that she does. Emily currently works at the Juniper Center as internship coordinator and CEU curator as well as adjunct teaching part time.
