What You will Learn

People who suffer with chronic anxiety disorders – Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, phobias of all kinds, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder - struggle with what seems to be an insoluble problem. “The harder I try”, they say, with a mix of frustration and despair, “’the worse it gets!” Yet these disorders are very treatable once client and clinician recognize, and treat, the core of the problem. While DSM continues to label these conditions “anxiety disorders”, it would be more accurate to call them “disorders of excessive self-protection*”, and more helpful to treat them as such. This workshop will show you how.

  • Prepare a treatment plan that helps clients work with, rather than against, chronic anxiety symptoms
